I’m a work-from-home wife, mum, and bookworm living in Vancouver, BC. There is something about this beautiful city that has me by the heartstrings. I feel blessed to call this place my home, despite the ludicrous transit, traffic, and real estate.

As a child, I proudly declared that I would be a cashier when I grew up “because everyone gives them the money.” My first job in a bookstore quickly shattered that illusion. Since then, my career path has been…eclectic. I spent a few years pursuing acting, then archaeology, then history, before finding my passion in Writing and Communications.

I married my university sweetheart, Glen, and we have built a pretty awesome life together. We have a little girl named Evelyn, who is a bundle of smiles and joy. Seriously, she’s probably one of the happiest kids you’ll ever meet. We also have a Persian cat named Zeus, and yes we realize that having a Persian cat named Zeus is hilarious.

I have lost count of how many times I’ve ready Harry Potter. Generally I gravitate to historical, young adult, and humour books, but I’ll read anything if the subject matter is interesting. Aside from reading, I enjoy watching movies, home d├ęcor shows, and the occasional hockey game (go Canucks!) I’m a big fan of rainy days by the fire, game nights, time spent with family and friends, and cozy socks. Oh, and caffeine. Did I mention caffeine? I told you I’m a Vancouverite, I practically have coffee hooked up intravenously.

My bucket list contains places I want to visit, thrills I want to seek, and romance novels I want to publish. I have a long and storied past with romance novels, so it just wouldn’t be right if I didn’t get to do my own some day.

Thanks for coming to visit and getting to know me a bit more. I hope you like the blog!
